Here is a linky to my analysis of the opening of the novel.
We watched Merata Mita’s full-length documentary Patu! (1983), which is about the 1981 Springbok Tour.
I found it interesting that…
the police actually hit members of the public.
I think if I had been at high school during the 1981 Springbok Tour I probably would have…
gone to the protests and hit the police back if they hit me, I would also try wearing a lot a protection.
After watching this documentary I am now wondering…
If anybody died while protesting?
Critical thinking is very important because it teaches people how to think harder about something that would otherwise be simple
we should be taught about this in class more often by doing more hands-on work.
I didn’t learn a lot, but one thing I managed to do was roll over in my cayak.
This slide show will tell you a little about Apartheid.
Hopefully, you can gain a better understanding of what happened.
